Because of our aging population, kidney failure is affecting more people
today than ever before. Today, more people suffer from diabetes, high
blood pressure and obesity. As a result, the number of people on dialysis
continues to grow. However, even with increasing numbers of dialysis
units it is very difficult, if not almost impossible to find a dialysis center
that offers high quality care combined with a service oriented staff.
New York Artificial Kidney Center, located at 2651 East 14th Street,
Brooklyn, New York, is truly a step ahead of any other dialysis clinic you
will find. It's dedicated to its motto, "THIS CENTER IS A GIFT OF LIFE."
They offer the latest equipment, the Fresenius 2008K machine and were
the first center in the tri-state area to equip their facility with this state
of the art equipment. At New York Artificial Kidney Center, they do NOT
re-use dialyzers. The safety and quality of the treatment is always a
priority; so is the total well being of each and every patient. The staff is
highly experienced in dialysis. Both nurses and patient care technicians
have 7-15 YEARS of experience in dialysis. The staff speaks English,
Spanish, Russian, Chinese and French just to name a few.
